In a state-of-the-art computer controlled facility, located in southeast Idaho, US Grout produces two different grades of ultrafine cementitious grout, with average particle sizes of two and four microns.
Developed by Sandia National Laboratories,
produced by US Grout
Sandia National Laboratories obtained two patents on an ultrafine cementitious grout developed for the stress microfractures that developed in the deep repository tunnel openings at the Department of Energy's Waste Isolation Pilot Plant (WIPP).
Sandia then transferred the process, under license, to U.S.Grout, LLC. We produce the ultrafine cementitious grout (a finely ground mixture of Portland cement, pumice and dispersant) in our state-of-the-art, computer controlled, manufacturing plant located in Malad, Idaho, located approximately 100 miles north of Salt Lake City, Utah. We ship worldwide.
